Relaxed tailoring: the blazer, reconsidered

03 Apr · By Noah Bergström

Lose the shoulder pads and the blazer relaxes into something you can actually live in — over a tee on a weekday, over a dress at night.

Size up, not down. A little room through the body reads as ease rather than effort, and it leaves space for the knit you will want underneath by October.

“Good design is mostly knowing what to leave out — then having the patience to leave it out.”

The same logic runs through everything we make at ASoc: start with what matters, remove the rest, and let the few remaining pieces do their job well.
